Sandler among Bavarias Best 50
Sandler AG from Schwarzenbach/Saale received the “Bavaria’s Best 50”-Award from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs for being one of the fifty fastest-growing owner-managed, medium-sized companies in Bavaria. Ilse Aigner, Vice Prime Minister of the state of Bavaria and State Minister of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology presented the award to Chief Executive Officer Dr. Christian Heinrich Sandler and his wife Bärbl Sandler in the Munich Residenz on July 29, 2014.
Bavaria`s Best 50, the prize of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs for medium-sized companies, is awarded annually to companies, which managed to increase their turnover and number of employees in the last five years above-average, while enjoying a healthy earnings position and which, last but not least, expect a positive development for the future.
Due to its successful business development, Sandler AG was honoured as one of Bavaria’s Best 50, which is a special highlight in the company’s 135th anniversary year. The manufacturer of nonwovens accomplished to increase its turnover continuously over the last five years and to boost it by more than 60 percent in total. In the same period of time, the number of employees grew by 20 percent.
Today, Sandler is one of the top 15 manufacturers of nonwovens in the world and is among the market leaders in its sector in Europe. In cooperation with customers and partners all through the value chain Sandler develops nonwoven fabrics for various applications in the markets hygiene, wipes, automotive, filtration, construction/engineering and home textiles.
State Minister Ilse Aigner underlines once more: "Without the work of these medium-sized companies, the dynamic and innovative drive of the Bavarian economy would not be conceiveable."
